SHIPPING OVERVIEW
Your sauna will be shipped from our Canadian warehouse via professional freight carriers specializing in large, specialized equipment. We coordinate every step to ensure your sauna arrives safely and on schedule.
DELIVERY PROCESS
1. Pre-Shipment Notification
We'll contact you when your sauna is ready to ship, providing:
- Estimated shipping timeframe
- Freight carrier information
- Preparation guidelines for delivery day
2. Tracking & Scheduling
Once your sauna ships, you'll receive:
- Email confirmation with tracking details, Pro number, and freight carrier contact information
- Direct contact from freight carrier to schedule delivery appointment once your sauna reaches their local terminal
- Delivery window coordinated directly between you and the carrier based on your availability
3. Delivery Day
Shipments arrive via LTL (less-than-truckload) freight services with scheduled appointments. The freight carrier will deliver directly to your curbside.
Customer Responsibility:
It is your responsibility to transport the sauna materials from the curbside delivery location to your home, backyard, or installation site. The freight driver is responsible for curbside delivery only and cannot assist with moving materials beyond the delivery point.
DELIVERY TYPES
DIY Sauna Kits (Crated Components)
What to Expect:
Your sauna arrives in a protective wooden crate containing all materials and components.
Delivery Service:
- Driver delivers crate to curbside
- Driver may assist in lowering the crate to ground level
- Driver is responsible for delivery only (not installation or moving beyond curb)
Customer Responsibilities:
- Tools Required: Basic tools to open crate (pry bar, hammer, etc.)
- People Required: Minimum 2 people to unload components safely
- Time Required: Approximately 30-45 minutes to unpack and organize materials
- Space Required: Clear area to receive and unpack crate
- Transportation: You are responsible for moving all materials from curbside to your installation location (backyard, garage, etc.)
Pre-Assembled Saunas (Garden Series)
What to Expect:
Your complete, fully-assembled sauna arrives on a wooden pallet, encased in protective wood crating.
Delivery Service:
- Specialized flatbed or equipped freight truck
- Scheduled delivery appointment required
- Driver delivers to accessible location on your property
Special Requirements:
- Offloading Equipment: Forklift or crane required for safe offloading
- Site Access: Clear access path for delivery truck and equipment
- Foundation Preparation: Level pad/foundation must be ready before delivery
Customer Responsibilities:
- Arrange offloading equipment (forklift/crane) in advance
- Ensure clear, accessible delivery path
- Have foundation/pad prepared and ready
- Be present for delivery appointment
- Transportation: You are responsible for moving the sauna from curbside to your prepared foundation/installation site using appropriate equipment
Pre-Delivery Consultation:
For pre-assembled saunas, we typically contact customers before shipping to:
- Discuss site access and any delivery challenges
- Confirm offloading equipment arrangements
- Review foundation/pad readiness
- Address any questions about delivery logistics

Delivery timeframes vary by product:
In-Stock Models: Ships within 5-10 business days
Made-to-Order Models: Manufacturing + shipping time varies by model and demand

FREIGHT CARRIERS
We ship via professional third-party LTL (less-than-truckload) freight networks. The specific carrier is determined by your delivery location to ensure optimal service. Carrier contact information will be provided in your tracking email once your sauna ships.
Important: Once shipped, products become your property and responsibility. You are responsible for inspecting the shipment upon delivery and noting any damage or missing items on the delivery paperwork.
DELIVERY DAY CHECKLIST
Before Signing:
1. Verify Receipt:
- Check all items listed on the bill of lading are present
- Count boxes/crates/components against shipping manifest
- Do not sign if items are missing - mark missing items clearly on delivery paperwork
2. Inspect for Damage:
- Visually inspect crate/packaging for obvious damage
- Check for crushed corners, broken wood, torn packaging
- If damage is visible, mark "DAMAGED" on delivery paperwork before signing
3. Document Everything:
- Take photos of crate/pallet from all angles before opening
- Take photos of any visible damage
- Keep all delivery paperwork including signed bill of lading
- This documentation helps us assist you quickly if issues arise
Important:
Never sign a clean bill of lading if items are missing or damaged. Marking issues on the delivery paperwork is crucial for filing claims and getting prompt resolution.
SHIPPING ADDRESS
Your shipping address is clearly stated in your order confirmation email.
Please verify your address carefully before confirming your order.
Address Changes:
- Once shipped, we may not be able to alter the delivery address
- Re-routing shipments to new addresses incurs additional freight fees (charged to customer)
- Any re-delivery or storage fees are the customer's responsibility
If You'll Be Away:
If you cannot receive delivery on your scheduled date, please arrange for someone to accept delivery on your behalf. Re-delivery fees and storage charges (if applicable) will be charged to the customer.
MISSING OR DAMAGED ITEMS
If Items Are Missing:
Step 1: Mark on Delivery Paperwork
Clearly note missing items on the bill of lading before signing.
Step 2: Contact the Freight Carrier
Call the shipping company immediately using your Pro number and request they search for missing items.
Step 3: Contact Us
If missing items cannot be located by the carrier, contact our customer service team:

- Include: Photos of delivery paperwork, list of missing items, Pro number
If Items Are Damaged:
Step 1: Mark on Delivery Paperwork
Clearly note damage on the bill of lading before signing. Be specific about what is damaged.
Step 2: Document Damage
Take clear photos of all damaged items and packaging.
Step 3: Contact Us
Email our customer service team immediately:

- Include: Photos of damage, copy of marked delivery paperwork, Pro number
We will:
- File freight claim with carrier
- Arrange replacement parts or components

ADDITIONAL NOTES
Canadian Deliveries:
All saunas ship from our Canadian warehouse, ensuring faster delivery times and simplified customs for Canadian customers.
Remote or Complex Delivery Locations:
If your delivery location has challenging access (steep grades, narrow roads, limited truck access, etc.), please inform us when ordering. Additional delivery arrangements or fees may apply for complex delivery scenarios.
Signature Required:
All freight deliveries require signature confirmation. Please ensure someone 18+ is available to sign and receive the shipment.
Delivery Delays:
While we strive for on-time delivery, freight transit times can be affected by weather, carrier schedules, and seasonal volume. We'll keep you informed of any delays.
